Harris is such a cutie and so adorable…and is the same age as our son Oliver. So when it came time to talk kindergarten, super heroes and cartoons- I knew my stuff!!
Because my son is the same age I know what boys this age are like (energetic) and Harris did an amazing job with the clothing changes and being still and focused during the shoot. Great job Harris!!

The weather in Colorado has been a bit crazy this year so far! We had to reschedule a couple of times because of the weather-but the third time was the charm. Finally we had some nice weather-a bit of a chill in the air but no wind. A little bit of wind is okay- even adds a little something sometimes -but the second time we had actually met on location and both mine & Lindsey’s hair was blowing straight up in the air. Not good. So we rescheduled for the following weekend. And as you can see- we got some great images.
Craig & Lindsey are getting married the first weekend in June. They are so sweet and totally in love !! We are really looking forward to their wedding.

Kennedy is a trooper- the day started pretty warm and sunny but towards the end it became overcast and pretty chilly. Normally I don’t like to photograph kids when it’s cold, but with her schedule it was the only time we could meet.
The shoot was for her comp card and we got some great stuff!!

This is from Michelle & Doug’s engagement shoot in Boulder. Love the flatirons!
Doug has a wicked sense of humor and had us laughing pretty much the whole time.
They are getting married in September in Boulder and we are really looking forward to shooting their wedding. September in Colorado is absolutely beautiful, the Aspens have changed and we’ve gotten past the rain & heat and the wind comes along just when you need a nice breeze. Oh and the fact it’s sunny 300 days a year here. Yeah-it’ll be a great day.

We had a wonderful day yesterday as chaperones for our son Oliver’s class field trip to the Denver zoo. He has such great friends, it was a joy to spend our day watching them explore the wonders of the zoo and each other’s company.

Hector is one of the kids I’ve photographed for his comp card. The kid is 4 and takes direction like a seasoned pro. He also has an agent in LA, his family left for LA the week after the shoot. I hope he does great in LA and Denver.
Towards the end of the shoot he did a song and dance routine for me. I think it was “New York, New York” I just wanted to go over and pinch his little cheeks, he was so cute!!

Can you believe by looking at these photos that this was mid January. It was probably close to 70 and an absolutely gorgeous day. Blue sky with big fluffy clouds. Gotta love Colorado!!!
These two are so sweet and sooooo in love. We had alot of fun and alot of laughs.
Chas was a little hesitant as to why we were doing the engagement shoot. ( a very common question amongst the men) But once we started and we laughed and had fun he understood. That and he got to kiss, hug and cuddle with the woman he loves and wants to marry!!
They are getting married at the end of June in beautiful Golden Colorado. Chas was a groomsman in Tyler & Megan’s wedding a few years ago. Another of our former B&G’s. Tyler will be standing up in Lavonne & Chas’s wedding.

Matt & Tricia’s wedding was our last one of 2005-December 17th. They had hoped for a very snowy day and they got their wish, we had lots of snow coming down all day and night. The ceremony & reception was held at Terrace Gardens in Centennial. Because it was snowing they got married in front of the fireplace. It was so beautiful and touching!
They brought their two dogs along on the engagement photo session, one was just a puppy they had only for a few days. They both have a great sense of humor and loads of patience with the dogs that these attributes helped make the shoot very fun.
We got a puppy or I should say that Oliver (our son) got a puppy for Christmas and Matt & Tricia gave us some invaluable advice for our new addition. Thanks guys!!!

Colleen was the wedding coordinator for Kelly & Brian’s wedding last August. Their wedding is one of our featured weddings on our site. Kelly & Brian
She did a great job that day-kudos to Colleen!! We bonded from the getgo.
She updated her site and needed some photos of herself and her associates Kristi & Suzanne. We did the shoot in her place and at the upstairs of a local pub. The light and location were sweet at the pub.
Jenece Amella was the hair & makeup artist.
As always she did a great job!! stylesbyjenece.com
Suzanne herself was a newlywed and still glowing!!
Kristi and I share a “isn’t it a small world” story. During the shoot we found out the she lives in our former building( loft in downtown denver) Our photo studio was in one of the storefronts and we lived in the corner place upstairs. It’s a cool hip place close to Coors field. Now for the even smaller world part- had we not have moved-she would be our next door neighbor. Yep, right next door. How wild!!

The first time I met Alyssa(a few years ago) I was blown away by how mature she was-she was 10. One of those kids who while talking to them you forget they are kids. Now she is a young lady and still mature, creative and decisive.
Her bat Mitzvah was amazing. The daytime party was an underwater theme, there was a couple of henna artists, caricature artists, a sunken ship and bread sticks that looked like coral!! And how could I forget -the 2 chocolate fountains.
And the night time party was at The Island. The place had been transformed into a tropical island, it was absolutely amazing. Tiki torches everywhere, beach huts for the food, incredible lighting and did I mention that it was on tons of sand. Princess DJ was at the helm for the dancing-she got the party started!!

Thankfully there were activities for the Adults
