Marilyn & Michael’s wedding was just as I thought it would be- beautiful & classy.
They got married in Boulder at the Flagstaff amphitheater. WOW what an incredible view.
If you have never been there-take a trip to flagstaff mountain. Well worth the switchback driving on the way up! Amazing views.
The reception was at the Flagstaff House. The view there was beautiful as well and the reception filled with love and warmth.
Kathy Vaughan of A Beautiful Memory was the wedding coordinator. As always she did a great job.
Lauren’s bridal portraits were taken at the Botanic gardens. We met in the early afternoon and hung out while Jenece did her hair & makeup. Then in the very hot and sunny late afternoon we walked around and got some absolutely incredible photos.

Lauren is getting married in less than 2 weeks. I just know that the day is going to be wonderful. We are looking forward to photographing the wedding!
Rich & Melissa got married at the Canyon House in Boulder. In the back yard right next to the river is where the ceremony was held. During the ceremony just as their friend who performed the ceremony was talking about their love of the great outdoors a couple of rafters floated by and were noisely having a good time. Talk about impeccable timing.
I loved Melissa’s dress- it was just amazing and one of a kind.
After the ceremony we walked over to the bridge and then right down by the river for some portraits. So like normal I move around and get down low in the grassy area to get some cool angles. We finish and as I’m walking away I hear a guy mention to Eric that I was in the poison ivy. Yikes. Good thing I had long pants and sleeves.
Note to self: Leaves of three, leave them be!
The weather was perfect during dinner and the guests danced along side the river during the reception.
Heather Clark with Calluna Events was the coordinator and she was great.
Lindsey & Craig got married at the Gatehouse at Lionsgate in Lafayette Colorado. It was an incredibly beautiful day and you could just feel the love in the air.
As you can see from the photos-laughter was everywhere that day.
The little ringbearer decided not to go down the aisle at the very last moment-the photo of him is where he decided to sit and watch instead of walking down the aisle. He was very cute and almost stole the show!
I love using mirrors in photos. It’s so much fun to play with the composition with mirrors. These 2 mirror shots are both completely unposed. I don’t think anyone was even paying much attention to me when I shot these. I just captured the moments.
There were so many moments that were a joy to capture. We have the best job in the world-really. We get to be a part of such an incredible day and are doing what we love.
We are blessed.
We have been friends with Bronwen for a very long time. When she was pregnant with her son Goran we had planned to shoot her pregnancy photos and she ended up having Goran a month early. So this time around with just a couple of weeks to go- we finally got some belly shots!
I loved her idea of doing them at the pool. It was so much fun to play and she was game.
I think she already knows I’m a little crazy and will crawl on the ground, climb up high or get in the water for a cool shot.
And as long she doesn’t go into labor on a weekend (weddings and all) I’ll be taking photos in the delivery room. That will be a truly incredible experience!
Morgan was so excited when I wanted to have her bring her baby doll Alex. So excited that she put Alex down for a nap and made sure she was fed and changed for the photo shoot. I mean how adorable is that. Really.
Her favorite photo is the one with the pink dress because of the way her dress looks.
Aeneas is a sweet kid, you can really see that in his eyes. These were shot for his comp card for his talent agency.
We shot his and Armand’s photos over the course of two days. Two very hot days.
When the boys were together it was magic. It still makes me chuckle to think about how they made each other laugh.
Armand & Aeneas are brothers. They work so well off each other. I could tell when one of them would enter into the eye range of the other one. Eyes would light up and the energy level would change. They would have me laughing so much, it was a hoot.
Armand has such a great smile and the longest lashes.
