Mechelle’s headshot’s were taken just a few days ago. Finally we had a 50 degree day in between our many snowstorms for a photo shoot. Good thing we did them Thursday-today it was snowing in the AM and tonight it’s very cold. Again.

We shot these in and around Union Station in downtown Denver. We had a lotta fun-she’s so bubbly and charismatic.
Also have to give props to Marnie Brooks for doing a great job with her hair & makeup.

We first met this family when Oliver started karate classes last spring. Sarah (younger sister with bangs) is in Oliver’s class.
She just got her blue belt about a month ago. Emily (older sister) is an orange belt and in the teenage class. Oliver is a yellow belt.

We see Julie & the girls about a gazillion times a week at the dojo and have watched & cheered for our kids together many a time.
For those that are wondering-this is kenpo karate and the order of the belts is: white, yellow, orange, purple, blue, blue w/green stripe, green, green w/ brown stripe, 2 levels of brown and 10 levels of black.

                                           

 

 

Fariba & Tamim were married at the Westminster Westin in Westminster Colorado.

We really enjoy learning about different cultures and customs and were very excited about photographing their Afghanistan wedding-especially when we learned about the belly dancers!

The music, the food, the truly beautiful women in their colorful dress and the men being some of the best dancers I’ve ever seen were what made this such a memorable wedding to photograph.

Boudoir photo sessions are becoming all the rage these days, and I am getting alot of requests for a boudoir session before the wedding and having an album for the groom on the wedding day. Guys love this surprise!

I have even done mini boudoir sessions on the wedding day. There is alot of sexy lingerie out there that looks great for photos.

These sessions are for anyone who wants to share these intimate photos with the someone special in their lives.

The sessions are usually done in the privacy of your home or you can rent a room at one the nice hotels in town. The Brown Palace, The Oxford Hotel, The Hotel Monaco, Hotel Boulderado, The St. Julien and The Broadmoor all have fabulous rooms for a photo session.

The sessions include clothing changes, you provide the lingerie and I can bring along my many bolts of material.

Some women are concerned about how the photos will look if they aren’t a size 2 with a perfectly toned body. My job is to showcase your beauty and downplay anything less than perfect. Most times women are so surprised when I’ve shown them a few test images from the session, they see what I can do and become much more comfortable and we get some incredible images that have far exceeded their expectations.

All the Boudoir photo sessions are password protected and we will only post photos from the session on the blog with your permission. If you don’t feel comfortable then we won’t put them on the blog.

Any of the mini Boudoir sessions taken on the wedding day are not included in any of the other wedding proofs, these are also put on another password protected site and will have a separate proof CD as well.
