Oliver’s artwork this morning seems to have been inspired by a certain “pop” artist’s work we saw several pieces by yesterday. (see yesterday’s post below).
Which in turn inspired lunch.
Our last day of Spring Break starts with a quick stop at the BK Lounge to fuel up and then it’s off to the DAM (Denver Art Museum). Lots of amazing exhibits and some fun drawing activities. The day was capped off by a trip to the Denver central library.
Mikaela is another karate kid from the same dojo as Oliver. Because I only have ever seen her in her black gi and usually sweaty after class I assumed she was more of a tomboy. Boy was I wrong-dead wrong actually. She is quite the girly girl. Check out her fresh manicure with the cool, fun design in the photo below.
We shot these a few days ago in the Belmar area of Denver. I love how these turned out!

Perhaps the second most popular birthday in March (at our house). And what a better way to start off the day than with Green Eggs and Ham? Well, to have them both read by mom and served for breakfast at school.
And then it’s off to class with the good doctor’s books on hand.
