Marilyn & Michael’s wedding album
Marilyn & Michael’s wedding was just as I thought it would be- beautiful & classy.
They got married in Boulder at the Flagstaff amphitheater. WOW what an incredible view.
If you have never been there-take a trip to flagstaff mountain. Well worth the switchback driving on the way up! Amazing views.
The reception was at the Flagstaff House. The view there was beautiful as well and the reception filled with love and warmth.
Kathy Vaughan of A Beautiful Memory was the wedding coordinator. As always she did a great job.

Here is their album design: Melissa & Rich
Rich & Melissa got married at the Canyon House in Boulder. In the back yard right next to the river is where the ceremony was held. During the ceremony just as their friend who performed the ceremony was talking about their love of the great outdoors a couple of rafters floated by and were noisely having a good time. Talk about impeccable timing.
I loved Melissa’s dress- it was just amazing and one of a kind.
After the ceremony we walked over to the bridge and then right down by the river for some portraits. So like normal I move around and get down low in the grassy area to get some cool angles. We finish and as I’m walking away I hear a guy mention to Eric that I was in the poison ivy. Yikes. Good thing I had long pants and sleeves.
Note to self: Leaves of three, leave them be!
The weather was perfect during dinner and the guests danced along side the river during the reception.
Heather Clark with Calluna Events was the coordinator and she was great.

We have alot of fabulous albums that have been designed over the past year and will be showing the designs along with the original images from the blog posts.
Enjoy!
Michelle & Doug’s album
Their ceremony was held on the grounds in front of the library on the CU campus and was touching and beautiful.
The reception was at The Stadium club at Folsom Field. The view from the room overlooked the football field, the campus and the mountains. During the cocktail hour they had their love story video playing on the jumbotron at Folsom field. Everyone got a kick out seeing the video playing outside.
They had both Chris Daniels AND the fabulous Hazel Miller playing at the reception. Which means that alot of people were dancing alot of the time!

A couple of weeks ago we decided to update the look of our blog. The biggest change to the blog are the new colors.
I LOVE the new look. LOVE IT!!
Now we are updating our website to match. It is going to look awesome. I can hardly wait for it to be finished.
We will post the moment it goes live.

Last year Laura & Brian’s wedding was a finalist for an Icon Gala Award in the best wedding category.
Char Hein of Everlasting Memories by Char was the coordinator. She did an amazing job and we were excited by not really surprised the wedding was nominated-it was top notch and very beautiful.

Thought I would post Alyssa’s album from her Bat Mitzvah! What an awesome day-from the beach party in the morning to the Island party in the evening. Easy to see why it one the Icon award for Best Overall Event!!
Alyssa’s album

Last year Alyssa’s Bat Mitzvah won an Icon Gala Award for Best Overall Event. Colorado expression Magazine and Confetti Magazine put on the award ceremony.
Char Hein of Everlasting Memories by Char was the Coordinator. We knew all the hard work and planning that was involved with making her day so incredibly special and we were thrilled that it was honored with the award.
Alyssa’s Bat Mitzvah was amazing. The daytime party was an underwater theme, there was a couple of henna artists, caricature artists, a sunken ship and bread sticks that looked like coral!! And how could I forget -the 2 chocolate fountains.
And the night time party was at The Island. The place had been transformed into a tropical island, it was absolutely amazing. Tiki torches everywhere, beach huts for the food, incredible lighting and did I mention that it was on tons of sand. Princess DJ was at the helm for the dancing-she got the party started!!
We have to give LMD Productions a shout out for the incredible lighting design.

Thankfully there were activities for the Adults
A few days ago we learned that Christina & Gavin’s wedding was nominated for an Icon Gala Award in one of several categories for best wedding. The awards are through Colorado Expression Magazine and Confetti Magazine. It is a huge deal and quite an honor for all involved with the wedding.
Alisa Zapiler with Creative Events & Occasions was their coordinator and submitted their wedding for consideration. She did an amazing job and was instrumental in the wedding getting nominated!
We are thrilled for all involved and are rooting for their wedding to win the big award!!
The ceremony was at St. Lukes United Methodist Church.
The reception was held at The Inverness Hotel

Anyone who has met Oliver is not surprised that he is very tall for his age-given that I am 6″ tall and Eric is 6″3″. I’m sure he is also destined to have big feet-with my size 12 and Eric’s size 15 we can pretty much guarantee he will have a hard time finding pants that are long enough and decent shoes in his size.
He also taught himself the paint program when he was 4 years and is now learning photoshop and loves to manipulate images on the computer-he wanted me to make sure I wrote that about him. LOL.
Another not so surprising fact about Oliver is that he really enjoys taking photos-always wants to take photos or look at photos. Now he really likes to sit next to me while I am editing sessions. He loves to know all about our clients-who they are, where they live, what they do, etc. We talk about composition and why we took certain images-he is fascinated by the process.
Today while I was on the computer he wanted me to go to our blog-so I did. He demanded to know why 2 sessions had not yet been blogged. My explanation that it was on my todo list wasn’t quite what he wanted to hear. So I asked if he wanted to help me pick out photos for the blog and he jumped at the chance.
The images picked for Francesca’s & Baby Claire’s blog posts were mostly picked out by Oliver. Does this mean I now have to up his allowance? : )

From the moment I walked in the door of her home Francesca was showing me her goodies & gifts she had received over the holidays. She warmed up to me right away and melted my heart.
Even during the outside photos she picked up many, many leaves and brought them over to me. How sweet!
She also took direction from me amazingly well for a child her age.
Her mom Toni is an weddings & event coordinator in the Chicago area: Events By Toni Francesca looks just her her mom except for the red hair-mom is a blonde.
