We are currently looking for people to host portrait parties.

Portrait parties are a unique opportunity for you to have a professional photographer come to your home or favorite location and create images of your children, family, friends and even pets! You and each guest family will receive a 20 minute photography session. In that time period we will capture as many creative images as possible. It is our goal for you and your guests to be comfortable, have fun and end up with great photos from a very memorable experience. And best of all, there is no sitting fee for any of the sessions.

How do Portrait Parties work?

The host will provide a suitable space for creating professional photos. We will set up our lights and backdrop, and create an on location portrait studio in the comfort of your home. Each guest and their families will all have a 20 minute photo session that can include multiple combinations from each family.

What happens next or How to order prints?

Images will be available for viewing on-line within 7 days of the party. An email will be sent to all guests with an access link and password to their portraits. It is up to each Guest to make all orders and payments to the photographer. Guests can order via the online gallery. Portraits must be ordered and paid in full to the photographer within 14 days from the date the portraits are posted on line. Orders generally take 3-4 weeks to be completed.

Finally-What’s in it for the host of the party?

* Be treated to a 30 minute personal pre-party portrait session
* When at least 6 sessions are scheduled and held you will receive a hostess package consisting of 1-8×10, 2-5×7’s & 8-wallets.
* You will also receive 25% commission on the total sales from your party to be used toward portraits taken the day of the portrait party.
* In addition, for every party that is booked and held from yours, you will receive an additional $25 in Hostess Credit.

These boudoir style photos were taken at the Jet Hotel in downtown Denver. The room had several wonderful, tall windows that brought in some sweet natural light to the room. We used the windows alot during the session.

Lyndsie is a very beautiful woman and the camera loved her!

We are planning several Boudoir photography marathon sessions for both the Chicagoland area and Denver in the fall.

This means that on a selected weekend in both towns (different weekends, of course) we will book a room at a swanky hotel and have available 5 boudoir sessions a day. Hair & makeup will be included in the package.

These boudoir photos were taken just a few days ago at Bride X’s house. They are a Valentine’s Day gift to her hubby-hence no name or face shown.

The session was fabulous and there are so many killer images-these are the only ones that will be public. The rest are for his eyes only.

We had snow coming down all day. I mean alot of snow, and it was very cold. So now that I’ve emphasized the cold & snow-that middle shot was taken by an open door. Yep, an open door on a cold, snowy day, wearing a skimpy nightgown. She was great about it, and got a kick out of seeing my breath while I was photographing her-and I was inside the house.

I think Hubby X is going to love the images!

Boudoir photo sessions are becoming all the rage these days, and I am getting alot of requests for a boudoir session before the wedding and having an album for the groom on the wedding day. Guys love this surprise!

I have even done mini boudoir sessions on the wedding day. There is alot of sexy lingerie out there that looks great for photos.

These sessions are for anyone who wants to share these intimate photos with the someone special in their lives.

The sessions are usually done in the privacy of your home or you can rent a room at one the nice hotels in town. The Brown Palace, The Oxford Hotel, The Hotel Monaco, Hotel Boulderado, The St. Julien and The Broadmoor all have fabulous rooms for a photo session.

The sessions include clothing changes, you provide the lingerie and I can bring along my many bolts of material.

Some women are concerned about how the photos will look if they aren’t a size 2 with a perfectly toned body. My job is to showcase your beauty and downplay anything less than perfect. Most times women are so surprised when I’ve shown them a few test images from the session, they see what I can do and become much more comfortable and we get some incredible images that have far exceeded their expectations.

All the Boudoir photo sessions are password protected and we will only post photos from the session on the blog with your permission. If you don’t feel comfortable then we won’t put them on the blog.

Any of the mini Boudoir sessions taken on the wedding day are not included in any of the other wedding proofs, these are also put on another password protected site and will have a separate proof CD as well.
